Swedes Interrogated in Pakistan A Swede of Algerian origin who was detained in the Guantanamo prison in Cuba for two-and-half years is once again in the Swedish news headlines. Mehdi Ghezali was finally released from the American prison in Cuba in 2004 without charges brought against him.
